Cut through the 10.70:10.94 floor, through earth with much deccomposed rock + many pebbles to a level with still more sandstone, at 10.70=11.03. There are only a very few sherds. In most of the north of the room, this floor rests on rock. Where it is earth its consistency suggests a floor, though the scarcity of sherds is against this.
30.3.38 Continue clearing the 10.70=11.03 level. It is so very firm that it must be a floor. The earth changes about 50 cm. from the wall to 2:20. It becomes looser, but still apparently trod, and has more sandstone in it. In about a line with the LCIIIA2-B wall of 2:28 there is a cutting in the floor, set with two upright slabs. The 10.70=11.03 floor dips to 11.10 at the center E. In the S-W corner there is a gravelly section. No differenciation is found in the line of the wall to 2:25A, indicating that it lay over this level.
