It is thus still more probable that 6 is a continuation of 5, and certain that it is crossed over by 3, and was destroyed at the time of the 11.20-11.41 floor. Find that the mud on wall #3 is of two types. That left until now is later than the construction of the wall, swiped up where wall & floor joins. Under this is a much firmer mud, the base of wall 3. This goes over the line of wall (?) 6, without a break, and continued over #7. Photo 183 with wall 3 cleared to mud base; stones of 6 visible. Clear #6 below 11.42, cutting through clay in the line of wall #3, through decomposed sandstone in the rest of the section. Both of these go to a layer of whitish mud with occasional fragments of charcoal, in which are set numerous stones. This seems to be the little preserved of the foundation of the same wall as #5. The mud slopes up on the sides of the cutting, implying that the foundation was sunk from 11.42. Photo 184 with #6 cleared to foundation Dig a small bit by wall #7 at the S-W corner of 2:27.
