(2:26)2:17 P808 bears out the assumption that the stratum dug as two levels, between 10.86 and 10.91 = 11.05 is in reality only one, tumble of Period 1 P794 shows the contemporaneity, also demonstrable monumentally, of pits 2+3 to the Period 1 floor (10.91 = 11.05). Pit #1 was seen in clearing to be more recent than 2+3; it probably belongs to the 10.86 floor, though it was not isolated until the 10.91 = 11.05 floor. Sh 167-168 belong to one Neolithic pot; numerous similar sherds were found scattered in various parts of Tr. 2, mostly in this general region; they may all be from the same pot. These and other neolithic sherds from LC II - LC III levels in 2:26 incline me to believe that the L.C. II building disturbed neolithic remains, perhaps in the long cutting cleared below 10.91 = 11.05 in 2:17, visible also in 2:26, 18, 19, 13, and probably connected with that cleared in 2:25A, south.
2:19 The distribution of P795 may indicates that the 10.50? { 10.53 10.63? { (10.92) level may be of the same earth (To p. 111)

Cont'd. from p. 110 as the (10.92) { 10.92 level, and thus be Period 1 tumble smoothed out for the Period 2 floor.
(2:15)2:20 The fact that Sh 152 and Sh 195 a join probably indicates the contemporaneity of the building tumble in 2:20 and over the that Period 1 floor in 2:15. In fact it is probably the same deposit, most fallen on the 2:20 side. But it may be that only Sh 195 a was built into the wall and Sh 152 got in otherwise, for there is some evidence that the wall, though of Per. 1 date, did'nt fall until Per. 2. But the matter is not yet settled (1.3.38).
2:22 Sh 208 proves nothing, since the upper piece may really come from the top of the 11.02-11.08 stratum.
2:25A P805 probably projected above the accumulation and into the tumble. This proves nothing save perhaps that it was in use when the house collapsed.
2:25 B The contemporaneity of Pit #3 and the 10.67 = 10.90 floor is amply shown by the find (over)
