12.5.37 from p. 167 TRENCH 2

East extension: Start digging in a large triangular areal to the E (NE), destined to bring the north part of the trench east to the line of the street behind the circuit wall.

Unit 10: On the 10.46 = 10.61 floor we found the broken lower part of a sub. Mycenaean amphoriskos in the style of Kaloriziki, Tomb 25. These fragments join with sherds found in the fireplace in unit 8, over the 10.30=10.40 10.26=10.37 floor, and indicate the contemporaneity of these two levels. (see p. 73 f) Page 132, #8 P764

Unit 8 Dig out a section left by the N.W stone construction, because it seemed different from the rest of the fill over the 10.44 = 10.55 floor (below 10.30=10.40). It may well be a Baugrab for the N.W construction.
