David Rupp

November 18, 1982Dear David:

We have been going over our budgets recently since there has been a new ruling that any funds which have been appropriated and which are still extant will expire as of Dec. 31. There seems to be such a case in connection with you and I should appreciate a speedy answer about it.

Anyway, in October, 1979, you requested the following:

Draughtsman's stipend supplement 250.00 Xeroxing 35.00 Photography supplies & services 125.00 Maintenance at Kourion 125.00 Car rental & gas 100.00 Research supplies 25.00 Total 650.00

This we requested for you from Museum funds, and it was duly approved on April 1, 1980.

The Business Office has no record that this money was ever spent. Can you tell from your records (e.g. checking account or whatever) if you ever received and spent it? Conceivably you did and this is just an error of omission on the part of our Business Office, in their records.

If you never drew this and think you still need it, please let me know and we will make it available. But I must hear promptly since I have to make a statement about it before Dec. 1 (sic: not Dec. 31).

Please let me know the story.

Best greetings -

G. Roger Edwards
