Re: Estate of George H. McFadden, II, Deceased

Dear Mr. McCouch:

In the SECOND item of his Will the decedent leaves the sum of $10,000. to such charities as may be selected by his Executors. The Executors have selected the University Museum as one of the parties to participate in this bequest. I, therefore, enclose check to the order of the University Museum of Philadelphia in the amount of $3,500. together with satisfaction of award in duplicate. Since no account has yet been filed I suggest

that when the University Museum executes the satisfactions, the date be left blank. Will you kindly return both satisfactions to me after they have been executed? I am sending a copy of this letter to Dr. Rainey.

Very truly yours,
