Dear Dr. Stillwell:

With reference to yours of the 5th and the Fales case. With this I should just like to reassure you that Fales no longer has any rights to the publication of the materials at Curium. Therefore, I am sure that you would not be guilty of any discourtesy toward him in taking over the publication. I made this offer very clear to him in conversation and in a letter, acting upon the advice of Bert Hill and Rodney Young.

I certainly hope you can manage to go to Cyprus and complete that job this summer since we are very anxious to turn it over to the Cyprus Antiquities Department this year. I don't know whether you know Cyprus, but if you don't let me assure you that you would have a very pleasant summer there.

Best wishes,

Froelich Rainey Director
