It looks as if I shall have to bill you for the postage on this package. It didn't seem sensible to save about 4/- by separating the letter and sending the plans 2nd class mail (and so irrevocably losing the unique item) (When I think of the care I lavished on my drawing of "Cypriot Capital fromCurium" only to learn that it has been lost at Philadelphia, I wonder whether it wouldn't be a good idea [handwritten: to install] a filing system)( or, perhaps, the trouble is that you have one).
I am interested in the comparatively new tracing material, a fragment of which I enclose. I was told in London that it is made by Kodak. It is splendidly transparent, should photograph well (drawing is on the matt side), doesn't tear or shrink. A bit more expensive than tracing paper, but worth it for important basic plans. I shall try to see if it is available here but if you decide to bring the tracing paper from America. I should like to have a roll of this stuff too. I'm sure it will be worth while. Another thing is that something must be done about that frightful sunprint frame at Gordon even if it means buying a proper one in Ankara (and the proper ammonia).
