EPISKOPI VILLAGE LIMASSOL CYPRUS

14 February 1958Dear Roger:

Thank you for yours of February 7 and for the cheque for £100 which has been cashed here and the amount of which I have credited you in my account.

Also for the rail travel information. I shall let you know later the arrangements I make. I shall find out the excess baggage rate and let you know soon about what architectural supplies I shall bring from here.

The sun-print of the grid plan will serve all right. Those upper levels are going to be rather a problem!

I have just been called across the way to stop Christofis' son's nose bleeding. Of course Christofis is away.

Monsieur Antoine is composing a direct acknowledgement of your kind greetings.

All seems very quiet and peaceful; the calm before the storm, perhaps.

For the nonce, adieu!
