May 14, 1949Dear Mr. Liberati:

Here is the endorsed bill of lading for the shipment from Cyprus about which I spoke to you this morning. I am also enclosing the certificate of antiquity from the Department of Antiquities, Cyprus (in lieu of a consular invoice as we don't have a consul in Cyprus). To this is attached the list of contents; the numbers (P 932, M 207, etc.) are the excavator's catalogue numbers of the objects and we have not yet received a copy of his catalogue so that we can't say what each individual number represents, but I do know that except for a very few broken bronze pins, stone beads, etc., the material is pottery, much of it broken.

Very truly yours

Registrar
