July 31, 1946Dear Mr. Pemberton:

Enclosed find a check for $1000 drawn to the University Museum by George H. McFadden. $900 of this check is to be deposited in the Ottoman Bank, Limassol, Cyprus to the credit of the Curium Excavations. The remaining $100 is to be used in payment of artists materials which we have ordered in this country. The bills for these will come through the University of Pennsylvania Purchasing Office.

Sincerely yours,

Percy C. Madeira, Jr. President
