this building, and there are others which we could set up lying both another season. The smaller of the two temples has eleven steps leading up from a street to it, and the larger temple has a simalar approach but the actually steps are for the most part lost in this larger temple. All but possibly the foundations of these temples [handwritten: are] Roman. I found [handwritten: also] two altars jammed full of terracottas. These are both Greek, the one Archaic and the other other was in use apparently from Archaic to Hellenistic times. This is a mere summary of our dig and I will tell you more more fully about our finds when I see you. The tombs yeilded many good things including some bronzes and two tripods.

I am planing to spend a day or two on my arrival at New york but will come in to see you as soon as I arrive home.

Sincerely yours,

Handwritten: George Huntsdale
