Dear Dr. Hill: — I am filled with remorse at the thought of your having to remove it to Cyprus. Pardon me. Hill is the one who suggested the price of a school for a bounty of some of your health — I was out on the Chicago trip.
Saw him in Columbia and I hope your case is all right.
Fine. Sincerely yours, Julian H. Whittlesey the Chief of the Expedition

Dear Dr. Jayne:-
A telephone call day before yesterday from your Museum office informed me of Dr. Hill's inability to acquire a surveyor-architect out there, which alternative arrangement had been indicated by what your budget could afford. At present Mr. Kokkin, a young Greek architect, was planning to return home in the spring. I reached him in the same time, that his return might solve your problem. He is, however, unable to go back at this particular season.
I should add that Mr. Kokkin, being interested in adding this type of season work out there to his professional work in Athens, has already had conversations here. Stillwell and Dinsmore and with Mr. Dinsmore here. As a result, time to take up such work from time to time. I thought he might be able to take you to keep in mind for the future. Mr. Kokkin is, I believe, an attractive, up qualified for the work, and happens to be a resident of and coming person. His present address is 500 Riverside Drive, New York City. His reference is Columbia University.
Yours very truly,
