ON BOARD SCHOONER SAMOTHRACE

appears to be a Propylaea at the north entrance of the city. It is of fine Greek construction and there is every chance that it will be well preserved and make an exceptionally fine show. We have a permit, too, for excavating the Sanctuary of Apollo Hylates mentioned by Strabo, which was famous in ancient times. You will see that an architect is quite indispensible. Hoping to hear from you very soon, I am,

Sincerely yours,
