Peterson studies the figured ostraca from western Thebes: those from the Valley of the Kings, from Deir el-Medina, and from temples and private tombs, and those in other collections. The second half is a catalogue of the Gayer-Anderson collection of figured ostraca in Stockholm, arranged by royal, mythological and private subjects, with notes, a bibliography, an index and plates. The text is shown with our English translation.
