Medelhavsmuseet Bulletin 1 (Stockholm 1961) is the first issue of the yearly journal of the Medelhavsmuseet, the Museum of Mediterranean and Near Eastern Antiquities in Stockholm. No editor is named in the issue. It opens with Olof Vessberg's "The Museum of Mediterranean and Near Eastern Antiquities, Medelhavsmuseet: A Presentation", which introduces the museum and its aims; Vessberg writes that it was constituted by Parliament in 1954 with the Cyprus Collections and the Egyptian Museum in Stockholm as its core.
