Medelhavsmuseet: Focus on the Mediterranean 2 (Stockholm 2005) is the second issue of the Medelhavsmuseet's journal, edited by Sanne Houby-Nielsen with Karen Slej and Marie-Louise Winbladh. Its first part studies objects in the Stockholm collections; the second reports on the museum's activities.

Two of the collection studies are Cypriot: Fanny Faegersten, "A Cypriote Limestone Torso in the Nationalmuseum, Stockholm: Approaching the so-called Egyptianizing Group in Cypriote Sculpture", and Izabella Donkow, "Three Cypriote Heads of Pan in the Collection of the Medelhavsmuseet". The others are Tine Bagh on the oval clay structures at Merimde Beni Salama in Egypt, Magnus Widell on the administrative texts of the Ur III period in the museum, and Martin Söderlind on votive heads from central Italy in Stockholm and Toronto.
The activities section covers the Euro-Mediterranean Archaeology Camp at Tell Abu al-Kharaz in Jordan (Houby-Nielsen and Peter Fischer; results by Fischer) and the papers of a seminar and public debate held at the museum on 25 May 2003, "Who Owns the Past? The Case of the Parthenon Marbles", with papers by Mary Beard and Hans Henrik Brummer.
