Description

A deep excavation trench cuts through soil, exposing rubble stone walls on both sides. Sandbags are stacked at the left edge. Two women in light headscarves and long coats stand on the upper bank, one holding a bucket. Below, workers bend and dig among the stones, and a wooden ladder leans against the trench wall.
