Oblique views of the three hill tiers, Amathus

Drawing
English, translated from the French record
Two oblique views taken from inland towards the coast along sub-meridian axes, showing the acropolis of Amathus in the background and centre, the first tier of hills. In the foreground, a plateau area cluttered with limestone blocks in transit belongs to the third tier of hills; in the middle distance, the hills of the second tier have arranged slopes, notably the pyramidal knoll lit from the west in image 9.
French, as on the record
Octobre 1992, matin ; septembre 1978, après-midi.
