  2. 1870
'La même année' as the March 1870 Cesnola sale purchases, 'un habitué du musée', the Vicomte Lepic (1839-1889) gave the Musée des Antiquités Nationales about fifty Hellenistic terracottas and two stone statuettes, probably from Kition near the 'Artemis Paralia' temple (the Salines de Larnaca), perhaps in thanks for the freedom Bertrand and de Mortillet gave him to study the collections.
