    Consolidated the plaster with Mowilith (PVA emulsion), faced the painting with two layers of gauze glued with Paraloid B-72 reinforced with bamboo canes, cut the plaster face from the stone central pier with metal spatulae, and transferred it to the Department of Antiquities laboratories in Nicosia, where it was placed on a fibreglass support. Todd (1982) quotes his account of the removal of the southern section of the painting.
