    Visited Cyprus on his way home from the Holy Land and Sinai, landing at Salina (Salamis harbour) on 8 February 1508 and staying until 28 March.

    Described the ruins near Salamis harbour (an amphitheatre, a paved cave, huge stones and white marble pillars with defaced inscriptions) and, on the tenth day, Paphos as a once noble city now desolate and ruinous from earthquakes, with a large temple of Venus attributed to its founder; later authors cite him for Paphos being ruined.
