    Megaw reports that the Antiquities Department, with A. I. Dikigoropoulos and V. Karageorghis in charge, began excavation and anastylosis at the colonnaded court at Salamis, partly investigated in 1890 by Munro and Tubbs, who called it 'the temenos of Zeus', and by Jeffrey, who called it 'the marble forum'. The dating of Jeffrey's naming is not given in the text read.
