- 2001Published 'Archaic Kouroi in Naukratis: the Case for Cypriote Origin' (AJA 105, 163-179), arguing that gypsum statuettes found at Naukratis may have been made in Cyprus for the Greek market; Karageorghis, discussing a gypsum kouros-type statue in Athens (given by M. Philimon, a general collector), calls the proposal attractive but possibly conjectural.
