Life and work

    Emperor Franz Joseph I approved the purchase, from the estate of the heiress (his still-minor daughter Hermine), of the Millosicz collection (1,094 coins, 250 archaeological finds) for 8,000 florins; almost a hundred Cypriot objects came with it.
