Life and work
- 1902In Cyprus under the British Rule (Nicosia 1902) wrote that Cyprus had been robbed of many antiquities, that Cesnola's finds were sold to the Metropolitan Museum 'for a large amount of money', that others exported antiquities after the English occupation without British administrative measures to stop it, that under the 1874 Ottoman regulations a third of finds went to the government, finder and landowner each, and that government's share was stored in a house in Nicosia as the government had always refused to fund a museum.
