- 16 November 1932Attended, as Colonial Office representative, the Archaeological Joint Committee meeting in London that formally proposed a Department of Antiquities for Cyprus.

- 27 September 1933Received a letter from J. L. Myres (and another on 17 Jan 1934) concerning the sale of duplicates from Cyprus (archive references as given in the note to Stanley-Price).
- 1936Wrote a Colonial Office memo that referred to Malta as also needing additional British support in creating antiquities departments.
- 1936Strongly endorsed C. A. Raleigh Radford as a candidate for the Cyprus antiquities post, calling him 'one of his closest friends' but doubting he would like 'working in harness'.
