- 28 May 1751Left Sidon 23 May 1751 and anchored at Larnaca on 28 May; he had not meant to travel in the island and was waiting for a passage home.

- 9 June 1751Excursion to the Holy Cross mountain (his description of the highest mountain in the island), with a servant and a guide; noted copper-bearing limestone and mines of lead and copper.
- 13 June 1751Visited Famagusta; describes fort, church of S. Sophia and the ruined Venetian palace, but no ancient remains in the passage read.
