Life and work

    Excavations at the Chalcolithic cemetery of Souskiou-Vathyrkakas directed by Dr Demos Christou and Dr Evi Baxevani: most tombs looted earlier, but finds include red-on-white vessels, cruciform picrolite figurines, a clay figurine of a pregnant woman and a unique askos; the cemetery dated 3500-3000 BC.
