    Wrote 'Evaluation of Tesserae from the Paphos Mosaics' (pp. 46-57) in the GCI's report on the conservation of the Orpheus mosaic at Paphos: tesserae from the Houses of Theseus, Orpheus and Dionysus and a few samples from the Early Christian Basilica of Chrysopolitissa were analysed by microscopy, electron microprobe, X-ray diffraction and FTIR for composition and for causes of colour change (weathering, earlier treatment, salt crystallisation, mineral staining; pyrite-bearing limestone, gypsum, and glue left from a 1984 treatment). Two mortar samples from the Orpheus mosaic were also analysed.
