Life and work
- 1986After the Friends of the Leventis Museum were founded on his initiative, he concluded an agreement with the dealer and collector Petros Colocassides to buy medieval ceramics in four instalments; the Leventis Municipal Museum acquired its first 26 medieval ceramics that summer.
- 1996Visited the Nicosia collector Pavlos Neophytou, inspected his ceramics and agreed the purchase of 115 medieval and 17th-19th-century pieces, all found in Cyprus; the A. G. Leventis Foundation bought them on the Friends' behalf and they were shown at the autumn 1996 'Days of Nicosia' festival.
