    Wrote to Charles Newton (British Museum), before 8 July 1880, requesting him to inform the Trustees that Earl Granville offered the Museum a small collection of antiquities recently discovered in Cyprus (from Bamboula at Larnaka, Aradippou, Limassol and Amathus, as reported by Lieut. Sinclair and others). Newton submitted the letter to the Trustees on 8 July 1880. The letter itself is not quoted, only the minute's paraphrase of it.
