Barbara Milne

Barbara Milne assembled a collection of about 25 to 30 Cypriot artefacts, most of them of Cypro-Geometric date, and one jug from it is now in the Drakopoulos Collection¹.

She was born in Aberdeen. She visited Cyprus often in the 1960s and again in later years, and on the earlier visits she bought many of the pieces from local art markets¹.

After her death most of the collection was sold and dispersed. The one piece the Drakopoulos Collection holds from it is a Cypro-Geometric Black-on-Red globular jug with concentric-circle decoration¹.
