Galerie Jürgen Haering

Galerie Jürgen Haering has traded from the old town of Freiburg im Breisgau since 1974, according to the gallery itself¹. Jürgen Haering is its owner. The gallery deals in Greek, Roman and Egyptian antiquities and ancient Near Eastern artefacts, which it describes as guaranteed authentic and priced both for museums and for enthusiasts¹.

Auction catalogues give its trade name as "Jürgen Haering, Galerie am Museum, Freiburg". A Dutch collector acquired an Attic black-figure neck amphora from him in 1984, later sold at Bonhams in London on 28 November 2018⁴. A Near Eastern pottery shoe rhyton described as "with Jurgen Haering - Galerie am Museum" passed into a princely collection by 2006 and was offered at Bonhams in February 2024⁵. The IADAA member page shows an Etrusco-Corinthian amphora as an example of its stock¹.

The gallery names membership of BDKA, CINOA and IADAA, and says it exhibits at the Brussels and Basel ancient-art fairs¹. It also appears in the exhibitors list of Antike in Basel³.
