Survey of four tributaries of the Pediaios valley near Akaki and Peristerona, to study Holocene geomorphological change and dating of geological layers. Most material came from the Likythia tributary, especially around Achera. A new road cut at Achera showed stratified Iron Age and Bronze Age levels with plaster floors and an ash pit; site area about 14 ha, layers at least 2 m thick. Pottery: Bronze Age white ware, archaic black-on-red, pithoi, cooking pots and terracotta figurines. A second Likythia-area site yielded mainly Roman, medieval and Ottoman pottery.
