Middle Bronze Age III
Form of a bird
Form of a bird of the Asko, the replica of a leather hose or bag in tone, has a long tradition known in different form variants. This vessel is reminiscent of vases in the form of birds (cf. Inv.-No. IV 3868).The small cast vessel corresponds to a popular type of White Painted Ware III-V String Hole Style, which is occupied by numerous grave finds.Bernhard-Walcher u.Collection catalogs of the KHM Vol. 2, Vienna: 1999 H. 9,2 cm, L. 12,6 cm
