Description:

Jug: A spouted jug with one handle from the rim to the shoulder, a circular rim and a ring base. The jug is decorated in Bichrome III or according to Catling White Painted style with a thick brown band on the lower part of the body, a red band in between thin brown concentric lines along the middle of the body, and three concentric circle designs at the upper part of the body. The neck is short and decorated with zig zag lines and the handle is outlined also has thick zig zag decoration on its face. The spout is short with its end broken and it is decorated in thick dark lines. The jug has been restored and joined together by different pieces, half of the rim is missing and the colours have faded. (Overall: 180 mm x 150 mm) - Made of Pottery Culture: Cypro-Geometric III
