Terracotta Lyre Musician Figurine
Terracotta figurine of a female musician playing a lyre, probably a priestess or votary; hollow, mould-made with attached details (musical instrument), back plain; the woman is standing on a low base, facing the front; she wears a long tunic with many folds, and a cloak which is drawn over the head; the feet are visible below the hem; her right hand rests on her chest, and in the left she hold a lyre upright; the face and top of the head is broken away, while the upper part of the figurine is very worn; made of buff-orange clay with traces of red painted decoration in places.
