Description:

Small pottery jar or tumbler in Bichrome ware; wheel-made; straight-sided body swelling outwards towards the flat base; flaring slip with a slight inward chamfer; coarse buff clay (with inclusions) and buff slip decorated in red and black paint, coarsely applied: triangles framed by bands on the top and bottom, traces of paint also on the lip.
