Description:

Pottery lekythos or flask in Red Slip ware; wheel-made; baggy ovoid body on a flat, double disced base; carinated shoulder, narrowing to a neck with a loosely defined ridge giving a biconical profile; flat, everted rim; small arching handle from shoulder to neck-ridge; buff clay with a dark red slip, worn away in many places; surface also heavily calcinated.
