Description:

Pottery amphoriskos in White Painted ware; wheel-made; ovoid-piriform body on a low pedestal base (hollow underneath) with a stepped profile; wide cylindrical neck with a flat everted rim; vertical strap handles from shoulder to rim; orange-buff clay with a cream slip, decorated in matt black-brown paint: parallel bands on the body and neck and inside below the rim, solid foot, ladder pattern on the handles; slip and paint eroded in many places.
