Description:

Pottery amphoriskos n Plain White ware; wheel-made; globular-ovoid (almost biconical) body on a high conical foot (hollow underneath); wide, slightly concave neck and flat everted rim; pair of vertical loop handles from shoulder to lip; pale buff clay and similar slip, with surface colour ranging from that of the original clay to a brown hue; surface abraded, rim and foot chipped.
