Bronze laver (basin); cast flat and raised by hammering; incurved rim with flat top; two vertical loop handles, cast separately and riveted to vessel below rim; two rivets with round raised heads on interior of each handle join; body curving to flat foot base; posisbly originally on a stand; the vessel is of a Minoan type but may have been made on Cyprus. Dimensions: Diameter: 31.70 centimetres; Height: 8 centimetres to rim ; Height: 11.40 centimetres total Object Type: basin Techniques: cast; riveted; hammered
