Description:

Pottery krater; White Slip II ware; hand-made; short concave neck with flat topped everted rim; globular body with slightly flattened base; wishbone handle on shoulder; dark brown painted decoration comprising rim ticks on top of rim with four sets of four short vertical lines on neck interior; exterior has dotted scale pattern on neck and upper shoulder; two rows of hatched lozenges at maximum diameter with six pendant vertical rows of hatched lozenges to base interspersed with vertical wavy lines framed by dots and horned vertical lozenges in sets of one or two; sets of four lines on handle; thick light buff slip, unevenly applied on interior; fabric reddish brown; mended from sherds.
