Pottery zoomorphic rattle; Red Slip Ware; hand-made; crescent-shaped with pinched terminals probably representing ears; single pierced hole; contains three clay pellets to create rattle; thin, matt reddish brown slip; fabric buff; probably originally with loop handle at top, now missing.
