White Painted String-hole Juglet
Pottery juglet in White Painted String-hole style; globular body with round base and tapering cylindrical neck which ended in a beaked mouth, now broken away; small horned handle from base of neck to shoulder; two string-holes on neck; buff clay with pale buff slip; decorated in black paint, now mostly fugitive, comprising diagonal lines in triangular or rectangular panels.
