Description:

Red Polished ware pottery jug with cutaway spout and side spout. Handmade. Spherical body with tall tubular neck and pronounced cutaway spout. Handle from shoulder to base of spout. Pierced knob at base of neck at the front. Side-spout rises obliquely from middle of body of jug. Made of buff-orange clay covered with a polished slip. Decorated with incised zig-zags (comprised of three parallel lines) on the neck and body; colums of short oblique strokes on the body; obliques strokes on the handle. The incisions are filled with lime. Slip worn in places, and end of the side-spout is missing.
