Limestone fragment of a lyre or throne

The head of an eagle may have been part of the lyre in a very large statue of the god Apollo or, less probably, it may have embellished the throne of a seated figure. H.: 7 3/4 x 2 x 3 1/2 in. (19.7 x 5.1 x 8.9 cm)
