Terracotta statuette of a dancing youth
This statuette belongs to a series of "Phrygian dancers" that is associated with the cult of Cybele or the Mother Goddess. The figure is represented as performing an ecstatic dance, presumably part of the cult rituals. H. 7 1/4 in. (18.4 cm)
