Two fragments of a limestone sarcophagus lid with snakes

Description:

The two nonjoining fragments belong to the lid of a large sarcophagus with a molded edge. There is the coiled body of a snake on each fragment.


Overall: 6 7/8 x 11 1/4 x 7 in. (17.5 x 28.6 x 17.8 cm)
